She began her career in impact investing with early experiences in the microfinance sector in Latin America and the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Spain. She then joined the Open Value Foundation, a pioneering family foundation that helped establish Spain’s impact investing sector. During this time, she specialized in impact measurement, supporting purpose-driven initiatives—ranging from foundations to social enterprises and impact funds—in developing their IMM practices. Over the past four years, Ana worked at Global Social Impact Investments, a Spanish impact fund manager, focusing on the Sub-Saharan Africa fund. In this role, she gained expertise in emerging markets while contributing to impact management, financial evaluation, and portfolio management.
